 THE ART OF ENTERTAINMENT
BY
SYMA NADEEM

Good entertainment is a source of joy for mankind.  It is a means to foster brotherhood, connect people, bring them closer and encourage give and take.  World has become a global village thanks to media and Hi Tech gadgets.  Now a days we are more inclined to celebrate each other’s festivals than we used to previously.
Where there is’ Minglish’ as the universal language being spoken there is also a burning quest to know and enjoy worldwide festivals.  Thus lending a local touch to the Universal Celebrations.  Nowadays we celebrate Mother’s Day, Valentine’s Day, Holi with equal fervor& enthusiasm. Similarly others enjoy our Chand Raat, Mayun and Mehndi with just as much vivre.

Keeping in mind this spirit to enjoy entertaining and being entertained I am starting a series of ‘ The Art of Entertainment for Festive Occasions’.  Now you can enjoy and learn from an entire series of Wedding Ideas starting with Bridal Shower/ Bachelor Party, Mayun for Bride and Mehndi ideas for Groom’s side, Wedding and Valima tips and unique ideas for Christmas, New Year Bash parties and many other delightful entertaining tips for all nature of festive occasions.

Remember, Perfection in the Art of Entertainment can only be attained by strictly adhering to 3 Basic Rules. These are;
Rule No 1:             Aesthetic Appeal
Rule No 2:             Culinary Perfection
Rule No 3:             Interactive Appeal
Any kind of party whether it is of any nature involved should be an amalgamation of all the three above mentioned appeals.  That means it should be Aesthetically Appealing to the eyes, be colorful or themed.  It should be interactive and exciting and of course no party would be perfect without good food both taste wise and layout wise. Besides these three rules follow a ‘Basic Checklist’ for your party adhering to which will ensure a smooth success in any event you plan to execute. This checklist includes;
·       Budget planning
·       Number of Guests
·       Venue Selection / Booking
